1. Purpose and Scope
JOSAM Author Pathway™ is a professional academic support initiative offered by Selsistem, created to help researchers, clinicians, and academicians develop high-quality scientific manuscripts suitable for submission to any international indexed journal.
The program is independent of JOSAM’s editorial or publishing process, even though it is named in cooperation with the journal. Participation in the Author Pathway™ does not influence submission outcomes for JOSAM or any other journal.
Services include:

Manuscript structuring and academic writing coaching

Referencing and journal formatting support

Language and clarity review (non-editing)

2. Affiliation and Independence

JOSAM Author Pathway™ is powered by Selsistem and is not part of JOSAM’s editorial board or publishing pipeline.

Articles supported through the Pathway may be submitted to any peer-reviewed, international, indexed journal, including but not limited to JOSAM.

Support is methodological and editorial, not editorially binding.
3. Paid Premium Service
All services provided by the JOSAM Author Pathway™ are fee-based.

There are no free tiers or complimentary support components.

Fees are quoted based on the scope of work, complexity of the manuscript, and urgency.

A clear written agreement will be provided before service begins.
This service is completely separate from JOSAM’s standard open-access publishing model.

JOSAM does not charge submission or review fees.

APCs (Article Processing Charges) do not apply to accepted manuscripts in JOSAM.

However, premium services like rapid peer review or fast-track production may be offered by JOSAM under separate terms, and are not part of the Author Pathway.
4. Author Responsibilities
Authors remain solely responsible for:

Scientific validity and originality of the work

Acquiring necessary ethical approvals and patient consents

Ensuring accurate authorship attribution and declaration of contributions

Avoiding plagiarism, duplication, or fabricated data

Deciding on the target journal and managing final submission
Selsistem does not write full manuscripts on behalf of clients. Authors are expected to be the intellectual originators of their work.
5. Confidentiality and Intellectual Property

All manuscripts, drafts, data, and correspondence are kept strictly confidential.

Intellectual property remains fully with the author(s).

Materials are never shared with third parties or editorial boards without permission.

Any data shared for support purposes will be stored securely and deleted upon request.
6. Limitation of Liability

Selsistem and JOSAM are not responsible for editorial decisions made by journals.

Participation in the Author Pathway™ does not guarantee publication in any journal.

While every effort is made to enhance manuscript quality, final acceptance is at the discretion of the target journal's editors and reviewers.

JOSAM does not take responsibility for Author Pathway fees, service quality, or disputes unless explicitly contracted.
