Archiving Policy

The content published by Journal of Surgery and Medicine (JOSAM) is securely archieved and shared at  https://jsurgmed.com/issue/archive and hosted on Open Journal System (OJS). The PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) allows OJS hosted journals to digitally preserve their content. As of July 2024, JOSAM utilizes the PKP PN to automatically preserve its content through the OJS PKP PN plugin.

The content published by JOSAM is also preserved on the EBSCO database and Electronic Publications Depository System (EYDeS, Directorate of National Library Electronic Publications Compilation, Turkey ISSN). This is a mandatory archiving according to publishing regulations in Turkey.

This means in the event that a journal stops publishing or goes offline, there will be a way to have continued long-term access to articles and issues.
