Journal of Surgery and Medicine (JOSAM) is a Gold Open Access journal. In accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), all published articles are freely, immediately, and permanently available online to readers worldwide without subscription fees or registration barriers.

Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author, provided the original author(s) and source are properly cited.

  • Copyright Retention: Authors retain unconditional copyright and full publishing rights without restrictions.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

To support global research equity and open science, JOSAM charges no submission fees and no Article Processing Charges (No APC). All editorial evaluation, peer-review management, typesetting, and digital archiving are provided entirely free of charge to authors.

Self-Archiving & Repository Policy

Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit all versions of their article (Submitted version, Accepted version, and Published Version/PDF) in institutional, thematic, or public repositories (such as PubMed Central, ResearchGate, or university repositories) immediately upon publication without any embargo period.
